What is Mozes?
Mozes lets you send and receive exclusive mobile content to and from your favorite bands, friends and social groups using your mobile phone and your free Mozes account on Mozes.com. All you need is a keyword. (Login or create your keyword to get started!)
Who can use it?
Everyone! Whether you're a fan, band, campus organization, a brand etc., you can send and receive all sorts of mobile messages, such as ringtones, wallpapers trivia questions and photos to and from your favorite bands, friends and social groups.
What mobile devices does Mozes support?
You can access Mozes with any mobile phone that has text messaging capabilities (except those with prepaid accounts).
What countries can I find Mozes in?
Right now we're in the US and Canada. Canadian customers can receive text updates only. Apologies to our international friends.
What's a Keyword?
Your keyword is your unique ticket to sharing mobile messages with your friends and favorite bands. It's unique and you can add your own profile information to your keyword. When people text your keyword to 66937 (mozes), they can opt-in to join your mob (mobile list) and receive exclusive mobile content from you.
What's a Mobile card?
With Mozes, your profile is mobile –- it's on a mobile card. Everyone using Mozes gets their own free mobile card with information about their favorite websites and social networks. Create your card and check out the mobile cards of your favorite bands and friends.
What's a Mob?
A mob is a group of people that can receive mobile messages from a band or a person. Build your own mob by inviting your friends to join you on Mozes. Or, browse around the site and join the mobs of your favorite bands. You'll get access to free, exclusive content!
How do I create a keyword?
Go to our marketing site at campgins.mozes.com and create a new account. When you complete registration, you'll see the option to "Get a Keyword". Click on that button to get your own Mozes keyword.
Why do I get an error when I try to create a keyword?
Be sure your keyword is 8 characters or longer, is different from your password and that you entered the confirmation code you received in the field provided. If you’re still having trouble, please contact support@mozes-inc.com.
Can everyone see my profile card?
Everyone can see your card, but you may choose public or private settings for all information fields. Click on "See my public view" on you're "My Stuff" page to see what other people see. Edit your profile card by clicking "Edit my Mobile Card" on your "My Stuff" page and updating your information. Remember to click "Save"!
What do I put in the Gtalk and AIM fields?
Enter your Gtalk (gmail username) and AIM username if you want text messages you receive to also go to your instant messenger and G-chat clients.
How do I send photos to my picture gallery?
Click on "Edit my Mobile Card" to upload pictures from your computer to your Image Gallery on your profile card. Or, you can take pictures on your phone and send them from your phone to your Image Gallery by emailing them to YOURKEYWORDHERE@mozes.com
What's a Mob?
Your mob is your mobile network. Send exclusive content to your mob. Being a member of a mob lets you receive exclusive mobile content. You can share Mozes with others and invite friends to join your mob so that they can receive messages from you. You can send messages to individuals in your mob, groups within your mob, or your entire mob from your phone or from your personalized Mozes page. Your mob is a great resource to ask a group question, share stuff, send a vote or a poll, or alert a bunch of your friends all at once.
Can anyone join my mob?
Anyone can request to be part of your mob, but you must approve or invite them yourself in order for them to join. Requests to join your mob will be sent to your "My Messages" page in your free Mozes account. You can accept, reject or block messages.
How can I send messages to people in my mob?
From your Mozes.com account, click on "My Mob" to send a mobile message to your entire mob or individuals within your mob. Click on the icons above the text field to send them a compliment, say what's up and send a poll or trivia question. Click on "Edit my Mobile Card" and upload a photo to your Stash so that mob members can receive a photo from you. You can also send a message to your entire mob from your phone by texting @YOUR keyword followed by your message to 66937.
